Born, raised, and schooled in New Haven, CT, Johnny is the newest member of the doublethink family. When he was 15 attending Wilbur Cross High School he first learned how to play guitar. He thereafter joined a band called Manic Satanic which had a very cool rehearsal space: inside the York Square Cinema. Johnny and his friends worked, rehearsed, and put on performances at the legendary art-house building before it was closed down for good. When Manic Satanic didn't work out, The After Dinner Formal was born, a band that made each show a performance art party rather than just the typical performing of music. He joined doublethink in June of 2007.
